The TrafficVitals podcast · Episode 1 in November 2026

Conversations with experts on SEO, every other channel, and the AI tools changing both

TrafficVitals is a podcast where I talk to the people who grow traffic for a living: SEO heads, founders, CEOs and the specialists behind paid, email, content and social. We get into what is working right now, what stopped working, the AI tools that have earned a place in their week, and the numbers behind all of it.

What we talk about

Search first, but not search only

Traffic rarely comes from one channel, and the teams that grow it know where each one helps the others. SEO is the home ground. Every other channel, and the AI tools now running through all of them, is fair game.

SEO

Search, done properly

Technical SEO, migrations, content that earns rankings, links worth having, and the audits that find the real cause instead of the loudest symptom.

AI search

Getting cited by AI answers

AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini: who they quote, how to measure it, and what changes on the page when the answer comes before the click.

AI tools

The AI tools teams actually use

Which tools have earned a place in research, writing, analysis and reporting, what they replaced, and where they quietly make the work worse.

Paid

Paid search and paid social

Where paid and organic overlap, what one channel teaches the other, and when buying the click is cheaper than ranking for it.

Owned

Email, content and community

The channels that compound: newsletters, communities and content programmes that keep paying back long after launch.

Data

Measurement and reporting

Analytics, attribution and the reports leadership actually reads, so a channel’s results can be shown rather than argued for.

Who you will hear from

People who do the work

Practitioners first. Every guest is someone who has owned a number, not just commented on it.

In-house & agency

SEO and growth leads

The people running search and acquisition at brands and agencies, on real problems: traffic drops, migrations, budgets, and the experiments that moved the line.

Leadership

Founders and CEOs

Leaders of companies that grew through search and content, on how they decide where the next pound, dollar or rupee of marketing goes.

Specialists

Channel and AI specialists

Experts in paid, email, social, analytics and AI tooling, and the B2B companies that help other businesses get found.

How an episode works

One problem, start to finish

No pitch decks and no generic advice. Each conversation follows a real piece of work through to the result.

01

The problem

What was going wrong, or what the team set out to grow, and why it mattered to the business.

02

The evidence

The data they looked at, the tools they used to get it, and what it actually said.

03

What they tried

The changes that worked, the ones that did not, and what they would do differently next time.

04

Your takeaway

One thing you can check on your own site or channel the same week.

Questions

Before episode 1

When does the podcast start?

The first episode goes out in November 2026. Join the list above and it will land in your inbox the day it is live.

Where can I watch or listen?

Links to every platform will be on this page when episode 1 is published. Until then, the email list is the way to hear first.

Is it only about SEO?

SEO is the core, but not the limit. Paid, email, content, social, analytics and the AI tools behind all of them are on the table, as long as the conversation ends in something a listener can use.

Can I be a guest, or suggest one?

Yes. If you have grown traffic and can talk through the numbers, pitch yourself or suggest someone. Every pitch gets read.

Do guests pay to appear?

No. Nobody pays to be on the show and episodes are not sponsored, so the conversation can go where the evidence goes.

Know someone who should be on the show?

SEO lead, founder, channel specialist or AI tooling expert: if they have a story with real numbers, we want to hear it.
