Check your resume, then turn it into a page you can share

Upload your resume and get a score with a list of fixes in seconds. Then build a clean portfolio page from it, with its own link to send to employers. Free, and no account needed.

How it works

Three steps, about five minutes

01

Check

Upload a PDF or Word file. It is read in your browser and checked against what recruiters and applicant tracking systems look for.

02

Fix and build

See what to fix first. Your details are filled into a form: correct anything, choose what to show and pick a colour.

03

Share

Publish and get your own link, trafficvitals.com/portfolio/your-name. Add it to LinkedIn, job applications and your email signature.

What the check looks at

The things that get resumes rejected

Each finding comes with the reason it matters and how to fix it, grouped into what to fix first, what to improve and what to polish.

Can it be read?

  • Two-column layouts and Word tables, which some applicant tracking systems read in the wrong order or skip.
  • Standard section headings, so people and software can find your summary, experience, education and skills.
  • Your name at the top, on its own line.

Can they reach you?

  • Email, phone number, LinkedIn profile and location.

Does it show results?

  • How many of your bullet points contain a number: the size, the scale, the result.
  • Bullets that start with “Responsible for”, “Worked on” or “Helped” instead of an action verb.
  • Long bullets, the same opening word again and again, “I” and “my”, and clichés such as “hard-working” and “team player”.
  • Common spelling mistakes.

Do the details hold up?

  • Missing dates, mixed date formats and gaps longer than six months.
  • Length for your years of experience.
  • Personal details most employers do not need, such as date of birth, marital status, religion and ID numbers.
  • “References available on request”.

Your portfolio page

A page that works harder than a PDF

  • Your name, headline and contact links at the top, with up to three key numbers shown large.
  • Experience, projects, skills, education, certifications and languages, laid out to read well on a phone.
  • A “Save as PDF” button that prints a clean copy.
  • Built so search engines understand it, so your page can appear when someone searches your name. You can switch that off.
  • Change or delete it any time with your private edit link.

Privacy and rules

What happens to your details

The check stays on your device. Your file is read in your browser. It is not uploaded, stored or seen by anyone.

Publishing is your choice. Only the details in the form are saved, and they become a public page. Leave out anything you do not want online. Your email and phone number are saved only if you choose to show them.

You stay in control. Your private edit link lets you change or delete the page at any time. If you lose it, email ai.utkarshx@gmail.com with your page link and I will delete it.

Rules for portfolio pages

  • Only publish details about yourself, and keep them true.
  • No offensive, illegal or misleading content, no spam, and no links to harmful sites.
  • Pages that break these rules are removed without notice.

More detail is in the privacy policy.

Questions

Before you start

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no account, no trial and no payment, for the check or the portfolio page.

Which files work best?

A PDF exported from Word or Google Docs, or the Word (.docx) file itself. A scanned resume is a picture of text, so it cannot be read. Old .doc files need saving as .docx first.

Is the score what a recruiter will think?

No tool can know that. The check is a set of rules built from the most common reasons resumes get passed over: unreadable layouts, no numbers, vague bullet points, missing contact details. Use it as a checklist, then read your resume once more as if you were hiring.

Will my portfolio page show up on Google?

It can. Pages are open to search engines by default, so someone searching your name may find yours. If you only want people with the link to see it, untick “Show my page in Google search results” when you build it. New pages can take from a few days to a few weeks to appear.

Can I change or delete my page later?

Yes. When you publish, you get a private edit link. Open it any time to change your page or delete it. Keep it safe: anyone with that link can edit the page.

Why is this free?

I built this site to show my own work properly, and a page like this helps any job seeker stand out from a pile of PDFs. Making it free for everyone is my way of giving back. If it helps you, tell someone else who is looking for work. Utkarsh Gour
